Design workshop with dr. Henrik Sjöman

Design Workshop

24th August, 2025. 10am – 5pm

During this workshop, you will learn how to intelligently and creatively select woody plants for your landscape projects. Dr. Henrik Sjöman will share valuable theoretical knowledge, insights into native and non-native plants, and their purposeful use—when choices are made thoughtfully, the possibilities are truly vast.

In the workshop, you will work in groups, analyzing different project situations—a children’s playground, a private yard, a city park. Dr. Henrik Sjöman (Sweden)

Dr. Henrik Sjöman is a globally recognized Swedish botanist who combines scientific research with practical applications. He serves as an Associate Professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Scientific Curator at the Gothenburg Botanical Garden, and Honorary Research Associate at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Gardens.
